Project concept

To achieve the New Southbound Policy, the Ministry of Education in Taiwan is developing the exchange platform of education between Taiwan and India. This platform can enhance the communication and cooperation of universities and civil society between the two countries. Accordingly, Nanhua University is establishing a “Life Education Center” which is supported by Taiwan Ministry of Education. This center will cooperate with Chaoyang University of Technology as a resource sharing partner. On April 10, 2017, Professor Jue-Ming Shi, representative of Nanhua University, and the rrepresentative of Chaoyang University of Technology (including Professor Sung-Jin Shu, the Deputy Dean of Research & Development, Professor Yan-Xi Lee, the Vice International Affair, Mei-Ling Liu, the Director of Academic Research and Evaluation, and Ming-Wei Weng, the project manager) reached an agreement of cooperation in the project of "Taiwan Connection". The agreement is as follows: Nanhua University set up an education center in India and Chaoyang University set up an education center in Vietnam. All the resources and information are sharing to achieve the goal of interdisciplinary cooperation of educational services.

The purpose of the project

Five key points of Taiwan Connection
1、 The promotion of educational and cultural exchanges related activities between Taiwan and India.
2、 To carry out multiple forms of two-way communication and cooperation model
3、Multi - channel broadcasting and marketing of Taiwan to cultivation the high quality innovative talents
4、Publish the internet’s information regularly
5、Collect and analyze all the information such as the country or region where the base is located, the education development of the city, the talent cultivation needs and the areas of expertise that can be strengthened.
